Only album ever recorded by Long Island's Air. Their eponymous album is an exceptional piece of soulful jazz-rick fusion that is uplifted by Googie Coppola's beautiful vocals. Long revered amongst collectors of hard to find gems, the album has thankfully been resurrected by the UK's Be With Records. The entire album is worth listening to, but standouts include "Mr. Man," the piano driven "Jail Cell," the loose funk of "Man Is Free," and the chilling "Sister Bessie." Eleven tracks in all. Released by Be With Records on 180 gram vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
