Key repress of this in demand white label from Ron Morelli's Long Island Electrical Systems. Bookworms' Love Triangles 12" made waves when it was released back in 2012. Original copies have been known to fetch upwards of $100 on the used market. Thankfully L.I.E.S. decided to repress this beast of a record so you can save some duckets. The title track starts off innocuously enough as its chord stabs build upon each other. Its repetition giving way to subtle changes as the samples move in and out. What really got everyone's attention when this first came out is on the flip side, though. "African Rhythms" starts out with a percussion loop that is slowly joined by sampled strings and a little chanting. The kick - although heavily implied - never drops, leaving you with the rhythm running through your head long after the track has ended. It's an intoxicating mix that will leave you hungry for more. Recommended.
