Disco house heaters repressed! Dan Shake's self-released debut 12" back on wax for those caught sleeping. Originally released in 2015 in extremely small numbers, Shake Edits 1 finds the UK upstart kicking off his own imprint (after a killer release on Mahogani) with a pair of sure fire disco reworks to set the dance floor ablaze. Can't deny the infectious funk of "Glitter Disco," a stomping edit of Glitter Band's "Make You Blind" with some seriously beefed up drums and side chain compression going on, while "Buy Yourself Friends" takes Sylvester's classic "On & On" and gives it a potent loop up. Play loud at peak time and watch folks lose their shit! Recommended.
