There's no denying that watching season 2 of 13 Reasons Why adds a deeper layer of connection to this song. A highlight from Lord Huron's 2015 album Strange Trails, "The Night We Met" received a huge push through the controversial/hit Netflix show (it has since been pulled from the streaming site), and Lord Huron's vocals, backed by Phoebe Bridgers, carry a ton of emotion, seeping through the space provided by the stripped down production.
