The Zombies: Zombies On The BBC Vinyl 7"
Previously unreleased live takes from The Zombies. Over the course of their career the band would make a few appearances on the BBC. They recorded their take on the Isley Brothers' "This Old Heart Of Mine" and Dusty Springfield's "The Look Of Love" for the David Symonds Show in October of 1967. The later showcasing lead singer Colin Blunstone's vocal chops. On the flip are two that they recorded for the Saturday Club on separate occasions. Their cover of the Four Tops' "Loving You Is Sweeter" evidences their love for the Tamla Motown sound. Rod Argent's modal keyboard solo on "Just A Little Bit" is super to please.
